Now I'm going to have intrusive thoughts about licking Himalayan salt lamps. What does it taste like? Does the light change flavor?? What do moths think of Himalayan salt lamps???
I've seen this meme before and I definitely have intrusive thoughts about licking my gf's Himalayan salt lamp. Still haven't tried it yet, even though she said I could when I jokingly brought it up, because I'm pretty sure it would be disappointing.
Surprise her by putting some hot sauce and lime juice on it and lick it clean.
I tried licking those lamps and also licking straight up Himalayan salt blocks. They don’t taste any different from regular salt to me. The prevailing flavor is salt.

Kinda disappointed it taste like salt, but expected. Maybe I can add tajin to make it more interesting.

Now I want tajin watermelon. Speaking of which, if you’ve never tried putting salt on watermelon, it’s delicious. Somehow brings out the sweetness and juiciness.
Am Mexican, love putting salt or tajin on everything, maybe with some chamoy.
Mango, pineapple, apples, grapes, almost any fruit with tajin with/without chamoy is mouth watering. Never really just done just salt, I always add lime or lime/lemon salt if I don't want spice.
