I tried Bazzite and over all liked it but it was giving me fits on a couple of things too so I moved to Fedora. That was a couple of years ago and and I've been happy with it. I have a windows drive because I can't get my WFH software to work right but only use it about once a quarter.
I can't remember why I went with bazzite over regular Fedora. I think it had something to do with the display protocol not liking my monitor setup but I'm probably completely wrong. Maybe instead of dual booting bazzite and mint I can just install Fedora and call it a day.
I never understood what about Bazzite is supposed to be better than Fedora... Slapping a "Gaming" label on an OS turns it into a gimmick honestly.
I think Bazzite has (had?) a good out of the box experience for most people and the integrated Nvidia drivers are great so you don't have to fiddle with them. I had a 3060 when I first switched to Fedora and had the tiniest bit of an issue with drivers. If I had been less technically inclined that could have been a deal breaker. Bazzite being immutable is also probably a plus for people scared of Linux since they don't have to worry about breaking it.
