I mean there is clearly a difference between an AnCom using the word "tankie" and a shitlib using the same word. Although personally, I prefer the term "campist" because it more precisely describes the nature of my disagreement with them. Plus...I would absolutely be willing to drive/shoot from/die in a tank if it is fighting the class war against capitalism 😈.
The eponymous "tanks" weren't fighting the class war against capitalism, they were fighting a people's revolution against what Stalinism became.
