I was at someone's house and visitors came in with a Bernese mountain dog. I was warned beforehand that he really didn't like men. I just thought 'that's ok, we'll see'. Big pupper went around sniffing everyone, then doubled back straight to me to sit in my lap. As I sat on the ground, pretty much all I could was just, DOG. Giant. Dog. Friend of mine said 'welp, guess you're not a man'

Joke's on him I'm nonbinary now lmfao

Pupper knew all along. Good dog. Thanks for transing me.

I had this happen to one of my dogs. I went to the shelter and picked her out to go walk and see if we vibed. I was warned she doesn't like men and growled/snipped at the workers. She was the chilliest dog from the start, I was picking her up and holding her when I went back to the front desk. They said, alright I guess she's meant for you.

Even with my 2nd pup, when we went to go get her, I sat on the ground waiting for her to be let loose and she immediately ran right to me and sat in my lap. I think Ace Ventura might be an uncle.
