I was forcefully switched to Wayland a year or so ago and didn't even notice until I tried to run some xdotool stuff. The average user doesn't know and doesn't care about X.ORG.

And of course all the issues are typical C issues ๐Ÿ˜„ It will take some time to get rid of that language, but time can't pass fast enough.
