About jabong: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomelo
I know them as Som O (ส้มโอ) from Thailand. Where are they called jabong?
What variety is it?
I'm Hawaii based, but it's the local word for them. However, I'm totally uncertain as to it's origin or why local kine use that word. They're extremely sweet but very seedy.
It's jamong (자몽) in Korean, maybe that name came from east asia?
