A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.
A zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind. Failure to respect this will result in a ban.
RULES:
1 Understand the left starts at anti-capitalism.
2 No Trolling
3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, anti-communism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.
4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Remembering inconsistent rules is the hassle from which I'm trying to save myself.
Point out a single inconsistency
My friend, I've provided two examples already. I don't have a problem with community-specific rules, this is just a UX thing.

Unless he was an intentional troll/bot , then please let them talk and let us downvote or reply to prove them wrong. There are no Karma internet points in Lemmy
Liberalism is toxic to liberation. They are poisonous, and if you allow a poison to spread, it kills everything.
There are a million and one places where you can "hear both sides", and two million and one where our side is banned. We would like to have a one corner where we don't have to relitigate the same tired talking points for the millionth time. Are you really missing out on that much by not seeing another dozen comments calling anyone critising the democratic party a Russian bot?
Your side isn’t banned anywhere. Your side bans everyone else on hexbear and lemmy.ml. That’s where this community belongs, not on lemmy.world trolling normies.
If you really believe that then there's no point in having this discussion because you just live in a completely different reality
