What I come back to when compairing Trump and GWB is that GWB at least seemed to respect the office, Trump shows utter contempt towards it.
Bush had a modicum of shame and respect for lawfulness. And I don't think you could accuse him of corruption, despite his many other faults.
There just hasn't been anyone as manifestly unsuitable for the office as Trump. It will be decades before there's any respect given to the Presidency after this.
Do you actually remember the bush presidency? Shameless lying, illegal invasions, and corruption were his entire legacy.
