I do quite firmly believe I have witnessed the death rattles of Reddit with this dystopian data farming nonsense. Absolutely nothing is worth this belittling monitoring shite.

Depends, smaller focused groups can kick out bigots better than massive spaces from my experience.

smaller niche communities, subs can do that. but when that smaller focused group becomes large they start kicking out people even for the slightest infraction.

A lot of the smaller groups kick out people who just disagree with them

And not just for being racists or bigots

For example, I don’t personally believe that the kind of people who can afford to commute by bike need a safe space to be protected from someone pointing out that their expressed glee at auto accidents is callously political.

If you do your comments will be deleted.

They have some things to teach Musk about being snowflakes.

(Really, in modern US cities, only rich white dudes commute by bike. No single mom is biking her kids to daycare on her way to her shift at the chemical plant. Those roads don’t get bike lanes anyway.)

Edit: and the mod deleted my post for bigotry lol

i always found the bike community forums/subs always have wierd obsession in trying to turn everywhere they think they can ride into a bike only zone. people sitll need to commute by car or public transit, it just hurts those people. and there bike communities in irl that are douchey.

  1. No Reddit shills or trolls. But if you have a good argument for why Reddit should live, we'll hear you out.
  2. Try to be civil and intelligent. Be angry at Reddit, not each other.
  3. Provide evidence as much as possible without doxxing or harassing people.
  4. Should probably avoid linking directly to Reddit. Use archive.today and archive.org links.

Will add more rules as needed.
