Is There any way to Escape From Meta(facebook) Survilence.

First of All I dont like whatsapp and Asked my contacts to use Signal instead to message me. Some of them did but many didn't because They don't mind their personal data being send to pervy facebook's survilence server. They Say things like "Am I doing Any Crime Then Why Should I Care" and "Only Criminals Will Try To Hide Their Conversation". Its hard to ignore whatsapp as most people will never to make a switch to signal or any other messenger.

Secondly I am tired of telling my friends to stop using Instagram. They are very addicted to it and can't leave its algorithm and slop. I don't use instagram for reels I only use it to communicating with my friends who only DM me reels and posts

Lastly I don't use facebook but many person I know uses it, when I took a look at it I was able surprised to see many unrestricted NSFW content was there under recommendation panel also Saw the same on instagram.
Any Recommended Stratergy To make them ditch Meta ?
I totaly agree that forcing someone to switch from anything is wrong (I did it then regret it ) and I dont want to controll anyones life but what I am doing now is spreading awarness about the big tech influence on us and the alternate to get rid of big tech and take control of our life. But its sad to see many people are not aware of the influence of the big tech in our life.
I'm bemused by what I'll write next as it's something I would have totally disregarded--that's to say I see a reflection of my thoughts in what you've written. Those thoughts have changed with time. What you want to do is propagandise. I think that's a complete waste of energy. That enthusiasm would be better spent learning or writing libre-software that you want.
I dont want to get influenced by others. What I do is totaly well understood by me and I Felt that I am forcing people to switch but I realised it thats why I posted this on the forum so people can give their thoughts with their perspective and experience.When I read your pervious comment It reflected my worries of forcing people to make a switch.I like foss as it gives me control and I can do whatever I want with it. I use arch btw(joke).
