It will grow exponentially, though, Reddi's latest update removed the r/all sub and its pissed off a heck of a lot of users.
Imo it doesn't even deserve to have consumers anymore, it's basically a Facebook newsfeed now, merely without a friends list.
I'm here because they restricted old.reddit to only logged in users for "security reasons." The only time I log in is when I'm truly motivated to post something. Forcing me into their obnoxiously large, ad filled hamster wheel of scrolling when I just want to browse efficiently was the last straw.
That's fair enough, I don't blame you. The weird thing about that having to be logged in thing, is that as soon as I deleted the app; voila, you can browse posts from Google results, even up-vote and pressumedly comment, without even being logged in. What a predatory app.
I kinda miss when forums had a dedicated politics board, hell i miss boards in general which is why i still use sites like Whirlpool. Forums were better
It made a huge jump in 2023 and is mostly declining since then. Unfortunately fediverse observer shut down.
That's a shame to hear... either way, I'm just glad to be off of Reddit. I wasn't banned, just began to hate it with a passion.
