Honestly, assassinating him would be pretty sick. What is it they should be doing though?
Do you know what literal children are doing at this very moment all over Europe?
Misunderstanding metaphors?
Looking out for the “slow children” the road signs warned them about?
Looking for the horses someone just told them to hold?
Looting stores?
yes you should always believe the framing of the regime media.
But I totally do not expect anything better really.
The US is just a running gag
I’d love a general strike. Can’t do it by myself. No one else I know is ready to sacrifice everything they have to start the revolution.
Jezus christ, striking is one of the easiest and effective means.
The level of subservience and impotence is mind-boggling.
And frightning at the same time.
If I would live in a dystopian country where people had this mentality I would go crazy.
We get fired and lose healthcare if we strike, and possibly get shot by police. By design.
And none of that would give “the democrats” the means to do anything about the president.
Maybe I’ll come live in your utopian country and gripe on lemmy about people in America just trying to get through their day.
I totally agree with you on stuff but your expectations and attitude here are baffling. Come on over and start organizing if you feel it’s so easy.
A general strike in Minnesota lead to the resignations of federal prosecutors, the firing of DHS secretary Kristi Noam, and the eventual resignation of US Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino. Now, try to magine what could be accomplished with a national wide general strike. Try to imagine what could be possible if Democrats stopped condemning protests every time a window gets broken, they could use that mass movement to do whatever they wanted.
You can't just try to get through your day anymore, you have to fight back or you're going to fucking die.
You are insufferable. I hope you get what you wish on us.
You don't believe there's looting? There very often is, along with burning civilian cars etc. In the last video I saw from the UK, the "protesters" were walking along a residential street smashing random windows while the residents were hiding inside terrified
That's not the point and I never said that.
There are sometimes people joining the legitimate protests for their own (bad) reasons.
Sometimes deliberately by the government agents provocateur.
Both with the same result. Demonizing the protests.
The press will invariably only focus on that fringe group and call all of them "troublemakers"or whatever.
(As you implied by using quote marks)
The general public will dislike them and not even know about the legitimate demands of their protest.
Simple tactics that work on gullible people
About time.
Right? You cant loot stores unless you form a private equity firm with republican venture capitalists first.
