From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

It's been said a billion times: you don't get to decide what I find relevant. The only reason these clowns want to hide their behavior is because they're ashamed of the criticism. There is no other reason to hide attribution, your patronization notwithstanding.
the developers of the linux kernel, people who have probably been coding for at least 20 years, are clowns.
The biggest clowns can be found in online comments though. (And yes, I deliberately include myself in that group)
by that logic, devs should also disclose their preferred IDE, colorscheme, and favorite programming language. Mine are kakoune, gruber dark(-ish custom) and rust respectively btw. I'm not ready to trust someone with python in their favorites (I'm extremely racist towards python)
