"So much closer to BASH"
BASH isnt Unix though. Why use something close to BASH and not use full GNU BASH? This sounds counter intuitive. And doesnt make sense in declaring UNIX certification is better, since you are declaring that you want something as close to BASH but Unix isnt BASH. If you want BASH, use Linux, not ZSH on MacOS.
you know you could also just let people use what works for them
