Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
then you’ll be getting as much force-feminization as you’ll consent to 😈
If life hands you boys, make girls!
Unfortunately forced fem is kind of a hard limit for me 😅 I had a long period of being more femme and am working to intentionally reclaim masculinity, at least for the parts that do connect with me. I'm still on estrogen by choice, have boobs, and sit down to pee out of preference, so what masculinity means to me is obviously a bit different than most masc aligned people. Sometimes I kinda struggle with feeling like I'll only be received positively and appreciated in femininity.
But I appreciate the energy and flirting regardless! ☺️❤️
Valid and heard 🫡 consent is super important
so what do you like to have whispered into your ear as you’re being lightly abused by a lesbian mommy-domme little one?
Uhhh
That I'm pleasing. That I'm wanted. And things that make clear they can see through my reflexive masking of social vulnerability, like hiding when I enjoy something 🥹
If someone can see that I'm wet, or see how I'm avoiding eye contact, or see that I'm squirming and I'm not able to hide how I'm reflexively reacting to them, them pointing it out and clearly enjoying that they can see through me and find my vulnerability gratifying turns my brain into mush...
Adorable and delightful :) what a sweet boy you are.
❤️❤️❤️
Hope you have a lovely night ☺️
As a cis-man who has been cis and masc healthily my entire life, people have the weirdest expectations of masculinity. Lol. I usually sit to pee too, unless I'm using a public restroom with urinals. I don't think that's a fem thing.
In my opinion, the most masculine thing someone can do is not worry about what things are masculine. Do what makes you feel good. Men who are worried about if other men will think they're manly enough are insecure in their masculinity. As an example, I have long hair, which isn't typically masculine but a lot of men will stop to tell me to not cut it. If I was worried about doing things that are manly then I wouldn't have it.
If you're a man then you're a man. Stop worrying so much if other people think you're manly enough because you'll never satisfy them all. Be yourself!
