Use adblockers. UBlock Origin on Firefox or a Firefox fork works well.
adguard on android for in-app ads and revanced with sponsorblock for youtube as well.
Don't use ReVanced anymore, use Morphe

UBlock doesn't work on Twitch for me. So yeah, this is me when an ad is playing. Mute and ignore.
Add vaft script to ublock. It works for me https://github.com/ryanbr/TwitchAdSolutions#scripts
For unencrypted streams, Alternate player extension works (and I prefer it to twitch's player) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/twitch_5/
For android, patch Twitch using Morphe https://morphe.software/
