Why am I getting constant anime in my feed? (lemmy.ca)

I have no real interest in anime. As far as I can remember, I've never clicked on any anime related links on Lemmy, but it seems like every other post I see is about anime, a lot of them have to do with someone or something called Moe. I keep blocking them, but more show up. How do I stop it?

I think they mean that there are no personally curated algorithms, like what YouTube and other popular Social Media use to cater towards each specific user.

It's the public algorithm, not the personalized algorithms that are the problem. For example Lemmy.world will show posts with few upvotes at the top on the homepage and not show posts with hundreds of upvotes.

You can switch your default view from "hot" and I highly recommend it.

For my home feed I use "scaled" and for the all feed I use top 12 hours.
