"Flirty" is an inaccurate way to describe what and how he spoke about her. It was sexual harassment, live on stage.
But of course the Daily Mail would think that's how you flirt with people.
"But she's not on our team, so it's fine to be okay with sexual harassment and misogyny! In fact, we'll participate in it, too!" - The Daily Mail & many Lemmy users in the comments
Don't get me wrong, I don't like her, but that's because of her views. I'm never okay with misogyny and sexual harassment.
Yeah, I don't like her for her behaviour, personality, or attitude, nor do I find her visually coherent with all the plastic surgery. And yet none of this are relevant to the actual problems here: Trump sexually harassing her live on-stage to cheers from his audience, and the Daily Mail calling it "flirty". There's no reason to make this about Nicki Minaj when she's not the problem here.
Like, what's the goal on focusing on how unattractive you may find her? To show that you disagree with Trump? The implication of that is that the sexual harassment should have been better targeted not that it should not have happened, been cheered over, or been reported as "flirty".
