Dude we got dropped off at the mall to hang out with our friends. The place where 100 different stores were all owned by 7 different companies. The fucking mall.
Same for me. My childhood access to small electrical components was sadly thanks to big corpo. I'm sure the small town I grew up in had a mom 'n' pop electronics shop somewhere, but it would've been in some strip mall or old building downtown where I wouldn't hang out as a kid.
