A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Same with coding. The slop idiots think they are Very Computer because they prompted broken code with 0 idea how any of it works or how computers work.
Bad coders and bad artists scared of ai taking over the output of slop for them. Good artists and coders don’t care. See what your papa Linux has to say about ai code for example.
The problem is that bad coders and artists sometimes become good coders and artists. You're killing off the pipeline by removing their source of income, and eventually you have few -to-no good coders or artists.
