Another step towards mass surveillance in Canada!

For those not following along, this bill is bad enough that Signal is planning to leave Canada if it is enacted.

I've signed more petitions in the past 3 years and gone to more protests than I have in my entire life. (Including opposing these bills).

The feds have completely tuned out protests since the 90s in my observation.

Between Harpers brutalizing G7 protestors and Trudeau sicking militarized police on BC water protectors, the uniparty feds have learned they can just ignore moral protests.

Shitty Conservative opposition is signing off on this bill and NDP voters largely abandoned the NDP to vote in this fucking nightmare gov.

I legit don't know what to do.

There is nothing much you can do, maybe you could tell your representative that they would lose your vote if they voted for this..

Well, unless you are willing to dedicate your life to create a new populist (doesn't matter if it's left-right or center) political force to actually get somewhere, like some Serbians & Hungarians have done in recent years.

The kind of protest that would have actual impact will not happen in Canada anytime soon, almost no matter what happens.
