You may disagree with all the positions offered but assuming they're bots is incredibly naive.
That is correct, some of them are just useful idiots. The result is the same, though.
It's not naive, it's their excuse to switch their brains off.
If uncomfortable thoughts only come from faraway malicious others trying to undermine your "democracy", you can dismiss them guilt-free.
Now you can simply drop a piece of paper in a box and call it good. Nothing scary needs to be done or considered to arrest the decade long freefall into overt fascism that you wait no stop you're thinking again.
Yeah good point, Russia has famously never astroturfed online. Also, humans aren't bots. The word literally means robot.

I never denied that Russia trolls online; it's a huge part of their intelligence doctrine. Also, humans direct networks of bots.
