AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.
Rules:

- This isn't a place to talk about the cons and (supposed) pros of AI for different use cases. This is /c/fuck_ai .
- Especially no AI advocacy.

Let's do lightening cable, a terribly outdated port that keeps producing ewastes for many years, simply because apple can make money from it. It is only replaced by USB-C after EU passed a law requiring USB-C.
So, I wonder why is lightening cabel a problem created by government regulation?
