Those stats are insane to me. r/Melbourne subscribers are WAY less engaged than I thought. only 700 votes and 400 were valid due to karma limit and proper vote wording. That’s incredibly tiny representation. Far out.
Perhaps it was the time limits on voting
Interestingly about 1/3 voted for some form of protest which is way more than I imagined would.
Yeah, I get that you don't want to have trolls and bigraders skewing the results, but I still think people deserve a vote even if they've only got 100 karma.
But I agree with (who I assume is Seagoon here) Seagoon_Memoirs where they said that with 248 votes being invalid, the poll was poorly set up and run. Of course, the people who supported everything back to business are going to see this poll as fair.
