Just had a chat to my brother no one believes me but we are heading into drought. No one seems to remember 1997 -2009. It's coming again (maybe at least to an extent) and here I am feeling like the weirdo in the corner with the Thomson at 100%. I'm not apologising.

I've been saying it all year. It just feels like it. Warm dry autumn and winter leads to drought.

Well I guess it depends on what you mean by drought. It's true that this summer will be drier than usual, but in practical terms I think we are pretty good for water.

It's hard to predict weather and climate that far into the future, so I can't say you're wrong.

But honestly that's Australia, it's always been a land of fire and floods, so another drought was inevitable sooner or later in any case. It is what it is.
