I must be lucky. Even at the height of its notoriety, I haven’t had any trouble with Apple Maps (yet).

Try wayze It's Google maps but you can get a granular view of traffic and obstacles

It used to suck, but the only people who say it still does are the people who haven't used it recently. Apple Maps is amazing now.

Must be by location cause it is not amazing in Edmonton. Been using for a week and it has taken me to wrong places multiple times.

But. You set the destination. To be "taken to the wrong place", you must have set the wrong destination. Didn't you notice before you set it? Didn't you notice when you were going in the wrong direction?
