On the last point, I swear these so called gaming noises are literally just the cheapest shittiest components they can find... But WITH LIGHTING!11!1!!111!1! I was gifted what seemed like a fairly nice alienware mouse, was like 80 bucks, thought it was pretty cool. It has this weird button below the scroll wheel which I think changes the sensitivity or something. Pull it up a few times, mouse go slow, push it down a few times and I'm zooming around like nobody's business

6 months in, it kinda died. I can still adjust it, but it randomly sends me into max speed mode and I'm trying to click a button and all of a sudden my mouse is in another continent

Yeah the button below the scrollerwheel is a DPI setting. I had a cougar mouse and like less than a year later the scroller wheel craps out. PC Case Gear sent out a new one (they couldn't fix it), new one works fine but a few months ago it's crapped out again, scroller wheel again. So I bought a Logitech one. Only had it for maybe two or three months, but so far works pretty good. I don't have any major complaints about Logitech, they've really stepped up their game recently.
