We test them when they’re actually ready to be tested. These are clearly not even ready for animal based testing, let alone human testing.
These devices are so far from ready they shouldn’t even be near a living animal
Do you have insider knowledge on these technologies? How do you know it wasn't ready? Do you think they would be at human trials if it wasn't ready a year ago for animal testing.
My point anyways is that we shouldn't be doing any testing for things like mascara, but brain computer interfaces are a valid reason.
Regardless, we do worse for things that are a lot less warranted than this. Your phone has inhumane treatment of actual humans written all over it. Your whole 1st world luxury life screams of sin but you waste your time getting mad on things that could bring about great benefit just because of a name associated with it.
Keep screaming about it, chimp.
Nearly every test subject died. That’s pretty clearly not ready. Don’t need insider information to know that killing the majority of your test subjects means your product isn’t ready for the next stage of testing, rather it’s ready to go back to the drawing board and start over with something that won’t kill all its subjects.
Now you’re just being racist.
Lmao, how am I being racist?
Calling people “chimps” is a very common slur used against black people
Okay, you are actually an idiot. You don't think, that in this context, I might be just calling you a dumb monkey? I don't know what color skin you have and I'm definitely not trying to insult it. Jesus fuck, the main subject is literally monkeys.
Doesn’t really matter. It’s still racist language used in an insult.
It's first and foremost a noun to designate an animal. When I say you have as much intelligence as a monkey with brain trauma, I don't mean a black person with brain trauma. When they are saying they are testing on chimps, the article actually does not refer to black people.
Im pretty sure you are the racist one if you automatically associate the word in such a context with black people. It hadn't even crossed my mind. Most people don't think "black people" whenever they hear the word chimp.
Or I’m just american and have been called a variety of slurs through my life. Language has meaning, and even in other contexts it’s not necessary to use racist language. Describing someone as racist language is not the same as making a comparison.
Anyways, arguing with someone with the average intelligence of the test subjects is a waste of my time. If you love Elon so much I expect you’ll be first in line to test these out. Otherwise you’re just another dick riding idiot who’s fine with everyone else suffering so you can feel superior.
Thanks for using the word test subjects and avoiding the other racially charged options.
I hate Elon, but I can seperate the tech and what it can do for us from the persona. My point is that joining the hate train is the same as riding his dick. It's all emotion, there is literally no thought to it.
Brain computer interfaces are worth the monkeys*. Some things really aren't but this is. Concentrate on stopping the vanity animal testing, not this.
But it isn't about the monkeys* or the testing, it's all about Elon.
*a small to medium-sized primate that typically has a long tail, most kinds of which live in trees in tropical countries.
