Ooooh Nice!
I had "Ghouls and Ghosts" (though I remember the name as "Ghosts and Ghosts") and "The Revenge of Shinobi", never beat any of these, IIRC. Reached the end of Ghouls and Ghosts, but only on easy difficulty. It said you should try on Normal to get the proper ending.
I wonder if I can reach the end now. Not sure if I am a better player now, but at least now we have save states, and if worse comes to worst, there are also rewind option, though I would like to play without that.
Haven't heard of the other two games, but both looks good, and seems to have good rating, so will give them a try too.
Doesn't "Crusader of Centy" look like a Zelda clone?
