Oh joy, Emergency Room. Only 4 hours by some miracle. Wear your damn safety goggles people!!

You’ve done better than us. My mum and aunt took my 90 year old nana with stage 4 dementia to the ER today because she became completely non-verbal and thought she was having a stroke. 5 hours and they didn’t even give her a blood test. By that point she hadn’t eaten anything all day and was freezing cold. When my mum went to ask the triage desk people they just shrugged and said to call her gp if they were concerned. Mum was like ‘yeah I did. They said to bring her to the ER straight away because she’ll get more urgent care there.’ 🙃

That sounds awful and frustrating. Boyo has himself a doozy of a corneal abrasion. Mega painful but unlikely to be a long term issue.

That sounds rough. So glad there’ll be no long term damage though. What do they do for that? Eye washes and an eyepatch? Do they do stitches on eyeballs?

Yep several sorts of drops & cream, and sunglasses. No stitches. What a nightmare idea!

I just googled it and apparently it’s a thing. Truly the stuff of nightmares

The safety squint 💀

Not on the top of your head they don’t.
