Also, goalpost moving is a metaphor for when there's a debate, and one side is attempting to change the winning conditions.

I don’t care that they can vote. My point was that they’re lost causes. Period. That they can vote is entirely irrelevant to what I said. They cannot be reasoned with. Regardless of votes.
