Potentially niche question, I'm looking to replace the quilt (not a doona an actual old school patterned quilt) on my bed and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? The one I have I've had for over 13 years, and it's starting to actually disintegrate, so I would like to sadly put it away for preservation. I thought about finding the same lady but it appears she's doesn't exist online (understandable she would be well into her 60s or 70s now).

Edit, price is not really a problem as long as quality is good.

Do you know what fabrics and batting are involved? And do you want to box it or turn it into a hanging?

Oh golly, I couldn't say what it's made of, my best guess is cotton. It's made of different patches of bright orange material and is very big and heavy (I bought it at the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival hence the ridiculous orange). As for hanging or boxing it, it'll be boxed, no joke so old and well loved running your hand along it to hard will cause a tear.

Ok. Really hard to say on that. But at minimal. Get an acid free box. Put it in said box as clean as you can get it, maybe tissue paper (acid free) between folds. Stable temperature and moisture low light.$ Archival Survival is were I would get boxes etc. if they are accessible or affordable for you.
