If you eat enough junk food, the stomach isn't able to destroy everything anymore...
I liked the word destroy... Digestión happens in intestine BTW, only very very tiny part is digested in stomach itself.
Apart from that, the stomach acid is obviously a DESTROYER of life, a task which it failed in, at this occasion. So destroy is a perfectly fine word.
