We might be being set up by one of those send lots of tiny things Amazon scams. Anyone got good advice that isn’t based on American post system?

We’re getting right address wrong name small things. I refuse to sign for them but worry this is from me being Optus breached last year

Ah bugger, bloody breaches! Companies (and Govt) should be forced to do more about protecting our data.

May also depend on how long you've lived at that address. My FIL used to donate to charities and order mail order items, and we're still receiving odd things sent in the mail after he died. Cheap earrings for example.

Nearly 3 years here. Lots of ordinary mail from odd names, but packages is a new & different thing. Aside from that weird Dutch mob that keeps sending pens
