Tbh I just hope that reddit will fail after 1st of july just so they would finally understand that the community is everything.
It won't die in a straight line, but this is an inflection point that can help this or another platform mature to the point that it becomes an easier move for the next wave of dissidents.

I just went to the Redditwasfun Lemmy to pay my respects to RIF!
Me too! Only reason I heard of Lemmy is because of developer saying he was moving this way. Looking forward to his app.
Reddit won't die that fast, and I think many redditors are here already.

I can’t speak for others, but for me Apollo WAS Reddit. With it being gone, I’ve now moved on to Lemmy with wefwef.
Hopefully with time (and a growing user base) we can all call this place our new home!
