Actually, it is pronounced 'wind'.
Technically 'wind' because you have to wind up the wind for the wind turbine to move.

Since I got down vote, I looked it up. This must be the V236-15.0 MW. Color me surprised.
918.6 feet? I have doubts....I'd be surprised if it was over 300'. They are not very tall in Wisconsin.
It's an offshore wind turbine. They are way larger than onshore ones.
The rotor diameter alone is 236 meters.
