There have always been ways to link up your Quest headset and Steam library, but these have rarely been wireless, or as simple as downloading an app and entering a pairing code. Now, the VR marketplace has opened up entirely, and it’s all thanks to the Steam Link app.

What are they talking about? I've been using airlink only for the last 2 years. And it is as simple as downloading the Oculus app and confirm a pairing code.

Meta exclusives can Fuck all the way off though, I only buy my VR games on Steam. Meta has demonstrated they can and will remove titles you paid for and installed.

I've been using AirLink too, if you haven't yet try the steam link implementation because it's miles ahead of oculus'

Gonna give it a try tonight with some of the demos. Should figured it was better haha

Edit; gave it a try, can't speak towards performance but the interface alone is a huge plus. Loading into the actual steam environment feels faster. Since it runs as a native oculus app you don't get that awful ring around your waist when fiddling with Oculus settings.

I always had the best luck with virtual desktop. Will have to give steam link a shot and see if that's any better.
