In a phone call, Trump tried to pressure Arizona's governor to overturn the state's 2020 election results. Trump then asked his vice president to repeatedly follow up.

You also can't run for office if you have a foreign noble title, but that's not as relevant here.

So if a politician gets let's say a knighthood, that would make it impossible for them to be president?

Can anyone from a noble house please knight Trump then? I'm pretty sure he would feel honored by it!
