On the Fourth of July a day earlier, Trump also shared a meme featuring a flag that says “Fuck Biden and fuck you for voting for him.”

"MASSIVE PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT IS CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE IN AMERICA. THE WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN,"
Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"CRIME & INFLATION ARE RAMPANT, OUR BORDERS ARE OPEN, OUR ELECTIONS ARE RIGGED, OUR ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, OUR ENERGY INDEPENDENCE IS GONE, OUR “LEADER” IS MERCILESSLY MOCKED, & OUR COUNTRY IS BEING DESTROYED BOTH INSIDE & OUT. DO THE PEOPLE OF THIS ONCE GREAT NATION EVEN HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO PROTEST THE POTENTIAL DOOM OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA??? 2024!!!"

Edit: tbh, the article is fairly light around the edges, so feel free to give them a visit if you want to support them.

Thanks. Seems like the downfall of Twitter won't stop news articles that are just a summary of a microblog.

Boy howdy, am I glad I live in the really really real America and not whatever shithole America this lunatic is foaming about.

The problem is that a lot of rural folks, that have never left the county they were born in, believe all this is true.

Oh for sure. I always enjoy hearing how awful California is. 😂 Total lawless hellhole here, I tell you, with a tyrannical governor who's going to force you to buy an EV that you can't drive once the sun goes down because solar doesn't work!

Same thing in Chicago. Born and raised here, absolutely love it here. Was in an Uber in Florida a few weeks ago and the driver taking me to the airport asked "Are you sure you want to fly to Chicago? It's not safe there!" Yeah buddy, I'd rather stay here and wait for Desantis new private army to come knock on my door.

We really need a modern rumspringa where rural red state kids get to come see what life is like in the big wide world.
