Its actually less secure nowadays than a encrypted storage, especially when you use one password for everything...

RememBear is or not sure exactly what your response is regarding, sorry.

That said RememBear is technically less secure than an option where you host and manage your data yourself (provided you do it well!). But personally I think their method is sound enough for me.
