have you considered something (instead of discord) that you can self-host (considering you have a domain name here)?
but if all the mods are already on discord, then never mind.
Hmm. I think most people have a discord these days, yeah. My personal lean is towards conserving "novelty points" for when we absolutely need it, like this site. But good to know we have the option, if Discord starts getting evil and threatening the future of the community etc lol.
And fediverse options for forums are coming as well 🥳
