Dinner tonight is large bowl of fried rice with egg and Chinese sausage aka lap cheong and sweet and sour soup. Yum
Nice. I'm a touch jealous. I went the roast veg and chicken drumstick route.
Chicken drumsticks are the best. I’d give anything for them right now!
Yours is far more healthier if that helps a little
Yum yum!
Chinese sausage tastes so good. Been ages since I’ve had any.
I’m the one that enjoys it the most in my family 😅
I have never had this. It seems like something that would be much better home made than from a cafe.
My mum is an excellent cook
But also I think if you can find an authentic place I’m sure a restaurant could make a good meal
yessss
Taste soooooooooo delicious
Sounds yummy! What's in a sweet and sour soup?
It’s a basic one with pineapple, okra, tamarind, elephant ear stalk, tomatoes, bean sprout, and ngo om. I think that’s it. A full on sweet and sour soup will also have prawns and fish. But this one doesn’t have prawn or fish, unfortunately because when it does the soup is top notch
Elephant ear stalk? Never heard of that one haha.
Yeah I haven’t either I tried to look it up on google and I looked at the image of the vegetable my mum used and that’s what it said. So I went with it 🤷♀️ I laughed first before I posted it 🤣
It’s a Vietnamese vegetable called Bac hà.
