I was subscribed in the past. Honestly it's ok.
But I unsubscribed because I didn't read it often enough. Many of the things they test you will also find for free in SRF articles, Kassensturz or hear in espresso.
Regarding the free law advice. I once wrote them. Took quite a while to get an answer and the answer wasn't that helpful after all.
So I would highly recommend a Rechtsschutzversicherung instead, which will not only give you advice, but will also fight for you and where you are also insured up to a certain amount in court costs. I use dextra myself and am quite happy (just make sure you also have the "Move" package in case you also want to be protected in the case of car accidents - since I was missing that one when I needed it.) Mobiliar also offers Rechtsschutzversicherung but I don't have any experience with that.
