Maybe it's me but I was hoping we wouldn't import this kind of Instagram spam to Lemmy. I guess most people like posts like this? I'll just be happy for more content then.
I was honestly hoping it definitely would make it here. I like some light content that showcases a driver's personality without diving into their private life.
It's not just you. Some people want this, some people don't. For many it doesn't feel like the GP weekend has started yet unless they see Lewis' outfits
My wife specifically uses lewis outfits each day of the race week to inspire the outfits for her Animal Crossing character. When the Lewis Instagram fashion watch account on Instagram shut down she genuinely was saddened. It's all part of the spectacle.
But Fashion Lewis arriving, officially starting the Race Week, is a tradition.
Same, I'm here for race updates, big news, and occasional high-quality shitposts. I'm hoping the clickbait headlines, fanboy flame-wars, and driver-liked-other-driver's-corporate-mandated-IG-post screenshots would die with Reddit!
So, I get what you mean, but for me, it's this kind of fluff that helps make it feel like a community, rather than a curated RSS feed.
The weekend can't start without a "Lewis Hamilton arriving at..." post!
