I have a 3070 that I got recently, but I still have my old i7 7700K processor. I've been putting off my mobo/cpu upgrade, I wonder if I'll need to do that
Creation Engine is fairly CPU intensive, so you may find limits at lower resolutions like 1080p. 1440p and 4K will relieve that somewhat.
If you consider an upgrade, something like the newly released Ryzen 5 5600X3D with 32GB of DDR4 would be usable for at least as long as the 7700K has been.
