For me it feels like breaking up with someone after many years. At the same time, I feel a bit dirty mentioning the name in the post title.

No I don't get attached to things like social media sites.

Not the sites. They rise and fall.

I will miss some of the niche subreddits where topics and people have a tight and shared community. That said, I'm sure that Lemmy can grow similar groups over time just like Slashdot, Digg, and Reddit all did in the past.
