Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Anyone have a suggestion on where to get nice, strong fridge magnets (for hanging up kids' art and that sort of thing)?

Where do you live? Presumably any local gift shop will be selling magnets showing off the local attractions.

I'd rather plain. I find it a bit weird to have a fridge full of local trinkets. Well, not really a souvenir trinket fan at all.

That's a good point. I have a set of random smiley-faced magnets that came from somewhere like Para Rubber or an Asian import shop. The only problem with those is they're usually packaged so you can't test them on the shelving to see how strong they are.

You could always buy the touristy ones and get the kidlets to paint over them 😉

Haha yeah, that's a point, turn them into an art project! Nice idea!
