Defending someone for behaving like a toxic Redditor

As compared to the person that decides to just randomly talk shit about a country despite the conversation having nothing to do with that? Or compared to the person getting made at the user pointing out their hypocrisy?

Being an ass on forums should never be tolerated, let alone excused. I was pointing out hypocrisy.

You're the one getting mad about that. If I'm being an ass, then you're being a bigger one.

You don’t know their native language, situation nor do you know their cognitive condition at the time.

So it's fine to be an ass on a forum so long as you have Covid? Or did you mean it's only okay if you're going off topic to take random pot-shots at western nations?
