But that would require, i don't know, reading, and not being a hypocrite. There's quite a bit in the latter portions of the Bible that basically boil down to "don't make waves, be chill, work within the current status quo, even if you're dying because of it". But the God and Guns crowd doesn't like that bit

That is probably the go to when they get pulled over, out comes the Bible quotes on why God said it's OK.
