Just in under the wire! Joe Black, purportedly a normal human being, somehow became a demigod in 1952, winning 15 games for the Brooklyn Dodgers and saving 15 more.

He also had an era of 2.15, and only missed winning the ERA championship because he was 8 innings short for qualification.
